Financial Planning Fees

Financial planning fees are based on net worth because we have found that planning becomes more complex and time consuming as net worth increases. The following table serves as a guideline to help you determine your fees based on your net worth and the service you choose. Upon engagement, planning fees are payable in full, unless agreed upon otherwise.

* The stated price includes a review of up to 7 investment accounts for a net worth up to $2M, and 12 investment accounts for a net worth over $2M. Additional accounts and/or services may warrant a slight increase due to increased time and complexity. 


Portfolio Review:

$190/hr. (1 hour Minimum)

Depending on the number of accounts and complexity, smaller accounts usually range from 1 - 2.5 hours and larger accounts usually range from 2 - 5 hours. Quote provided after phone conversation or at initial meeting.

Annual Updates / Project


Updates usually range from 1.5 - 4 hours.

Other Fees

You may incur fees in addition to the ones paid to Blue Water. For instance, your other advisors such as your CPA and/or Attorney will charge their own fees for their advice and consultation services.
